Patrol 6, LLC ("Patrol 6," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at www.patrol6.com (the "Site") or otherwise interact with us online.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site and related online interactions (for example, contacting us or requesting a demo). It does not govern information processed under separate customer agreements, end user agreements, order forms, or a data processing addendum ("DPA") that may apply to customer use of Patrol 6 products and services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Voluntarily

  • Contact information (such as name, email address, phone number)
  • Company/professional information (such as company name, job title)
  • Information you submit through forms (demo requests, contact forms, event registrations)
  • The content of communications you send us (emails, messages, support or sales inquiries)

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:

  • Internet or other electronic network activity information (pages visited, time on page, clicks)
  • Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, device type)
  • Online identifiers (IP address, cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from IP)
  • Referring/exit pages and URLs

C. Information from Third Parties

Marketing Communications

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the "unsubscribe" link in our emails or by contacting us at support@patrol6.com. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send you non-marketing communications (for example, responding to an inquiry you submit).

4. AI and Automated Technologies (Website Use)

The Site may reference or describe artificial intelligence ("AI") or machine learning–enabled features. Information collected through the Site is used for Site operations, communications, analytics, and business purposes.

We do not use personal information collected solely through the Site to train AI models for third-party benefit. Any AI-enabled services provided to customers and any processing of customer content are governed exclusively by applicable customer agreements and, where applicable, a DPA.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information as follows:

  • Service providers: Vendors that help us operate the Site and our business (for example, hosting, analytics, CRM, communications, and security providers)
  • Professional advisors: Lawyers, auditors, insurers, and consultants as needed
  • Legal and safety: To comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights/safety, and investigate fraud or security issues
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. In limited cases, we may allow certain advertising or analytics partners to collect data via cookies/pixels, which may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some laws (see the California section below).

6. Data Storage and International Transfers

We are based in the United States. Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information, including contractual and technical protections for international transfers where required.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the purposes for which it is processed.

For information about how we process customer content, video, audio, AI analysis, or patrol data, please refer to the applicable customer agreements.

8. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. You can submit requests using the contact information in Section 14.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. In some cases, we may deny requests as permitted by law.

12. California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents and describes our practices and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"). For purposes of this section, "personal information" has the meaning given in the CCPA/CPRA.

A. Categories of Personal Information Collected (past 12 months)

We may collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address, online identifiers)
  • Commercial information (such as interest in products/services and related communications)
  • Internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing interactions with the Site)
  • Geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address)
  • Professional or employment-related information (company name, job title)
  • Inferences (such as preferences or interests derived from Site interactions)

We do not intentionally collect "sensitive personal information" as defined by the CPRA through the Site, except to the extent certain information may be incidentally included in communications you send us.

B. Purposes of Collection/Use

We use personal information for the purposes described in Section 3, including operating and improving the Site, responding to requests, marketing, analytics, and security.

C. Sources of Personal Information

We collect personal information from:

  • You directly
  • Your device/browser automatically via cookies and similar technologies
  • Third parties such as analytics and marketing partners and public sources (as described in Section 1)

D. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors for business purposes (for example, website hosting, analytics, communications, and CRM). We may also disclose information to professional advisors, authorities, and in connection with business transfers (see Section 5).

E. Sale/Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. However, like many websites, we may use certain cookies/pixels that allow third-party analytics and advertising partners to collect information about your browsing activity over time and across different websites. Under the CCPA/CPRA, this may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

You may opt out of such "sharing" by:

  • Adjusting your cookie settings in your browser; and/or
  • Using opt-out tools provided by relevant advertising/analytics providers; and/or
  • Contacting us at support@patrol6.com with the subject line "California Privacy – Opt Out" and describing your request.

If we implement a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or cookie preference center on the Site, you may use that mechanism as well.

F. Your California Privacy Rights

California residents may have the right to:

  • Know/access: Request information about the personal information we collected, used, disclosed, or shared
  • Delete: Request deletion of personal information (subject to exceptions)
  • Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out: Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" (as described above)
  • Non-discrimination: Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights

G. Submitting Requests

To submit a request, contact us at support@patrol6.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We may ask you to verify your identity. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and may also require you to verify your identity directly.

H. Appeal (if applicable)

If we deny your request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response or emailing support@patrol6.com with the subject line "California Privacy Appeal."

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
